Arizona Animal Rescue and Sanctuary is a non-profit, all volunteer organization consisting of experienced and dedicated rescue people who were previously doing animal rescue work independently and realized the benefits of joining together to combine their experience, knowledge, and resources.  We are a foster-home based rescue, not a shelter, all our dogs live in loving family homes until they are adopted.

When you adopt from AZARS, you will have the comfort of knowing that all of our dogs are sterilized, micro-chipped, and up to date on their shots. We will also contact you within a week of the adoption to ensure you are satisfied with your new family member.

We also are a Sanctuary for senior dogs who will always be with us until they pass through the Rainbow Bridge.  Your donations will help our Sanctuary dogs live out their lives with love and a happy home life. We thank you for your support.
